CHC launches Polonnaruwa Resort Collection: Lake House and Lake Hotel

In 1954 the Queen of England Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip chose the Old Polonnaruwa Rest House as their holiday destination. Rebranded The Lake House, this deluxe boutique hotel is surrounded by many historical sites from the second great Sinhala kingdom Polonnaruwa, and overlooks the magnificent Sea of Parakrama.
