In a bid to celebrate the company’s progress and the good rapport it has built over the years with residents of Galle, Classic Travel held a fiesta at the Galle Municipal Pavilion Ground. Classic Travel fiesta Galle featured a day filled with fun and games for adults and children, a product presentation stall, an inquiry booth in the shape of a star cruise as well as a raffle draw.
“It was a good day for Classic Travel Galle. We opened the Galle branch four years ago and we’ve seen business grow steadily over the years. It was a pleasure to see the high turnout and the interest we managed to generate. And I believe all those who came to the fiesta enjoyed themselves. It was a light-hearted end to a successful year,” commented Classic Travel CEO Suresh Mendis.
Representing Classic Travel, General Manager Sabry Bahaudeen, COO/Director Shiham Imamudeen and Director Saif Yusoof declared open the carnival. Amidst the many games and entertainment acts, Rodeo Bull, Mini Golf, Dart and Balloon, Puzzle, Ring Throw, Mehendi and Face Paint were some of the main attractions. The Classic Travel product presentation stall which displayed and provided information on Classic Travel products and services was a buzz throughout the day. The star cruise shaped inquiry booth provided information on travel rates to the eager visitors.
“We were keen on spreading awareness about outbound travel in other areas of the country outside of Colombo. The Product Presentation Stall at the Carnival proved to be an ideal opportunity to spread this message,” commented Saif Yusoof.
The day ended with the three winners, K.M. Sasindu Sandeepa, Sammani Asinsa and W.L.P. Dilip Ruwan receiving return tickets to Bangkok and Chennai.
