Ever since peace regained its rightful place in Sri Lanka, the sector which has rapidly benefited to reap its dividends has been the hospitality industry. And the vibrancy of this sector has been revitalised. It is now poised to maximise its immense potential to unprecedented levels.
Indeed, there is clear evidence that worldwide enthusiasm amongst holidaymakers and travellers to experience the splendour of Sri Lanka and its famed hospitality is gathering momentum. Therefore, in order to meet this highly beneficial onslaught of visitors successfully, Sri Lanka (and even other destinations in the region) needs to enhance, improve and upgrade what it seeks to offer.
Those who do so quickly will reap the rewards equally fast. This is, however, a significant task. Therefore, in order to provide the various players in this sector with strength, support and much needed awareness to realise their collective and individual enormous potential, the ‘Hotel, Hospitality & Food Sri Lanka Exhibition 2011’ will be held from 27 to 29 October 2011 at the Sri Lanka Convention & Exhibition Centre (SLECC).
This first-ever exhibition of this nature in Sri Lanka will bring together all stakeholders under one convenient roof. Thus, it will provide the perfect platform for all the relevant stakeholders who yearn to move their market share to the next level, to showcase their products and services to a very large target audience.
The organisers revealed that enthusiasm to be a part of this mega event has been very positive amongst hospitality industry suppliers, manufacturers and marketers of related services and facilities, etc., and indeed rightfully so, for this will be a wonderful opportunity with the addition of many other exciting events that should never be missed by any worthy player in this ever expanding industry that promises a bright future for all stakeholders.
This much-looked-forward-to event in Sri Lanka is organised by Pico, Sri Lanka and Montgomery Worldwide – two world renowned names in the international exhibition industry.
