Ebert Silva Holidays’ luxury packages for both foreigners and Sri Lankans to view the spectacular Kandy Esela Perehera have been received with much enthusiasm and eagerness. The most mesmerising and colourful cultural and religious pageant in Asia will start with the Kumbal Perehera on 11 August.
The breathtaking and magnificent Randoli pageants will commence on 16 August with the final Randoli Perhera lighting up the streets of Kandy on 20 August. The pageant will showcase hundreds of drummers and dancers, nearly a hundred caparisoned elephants and magnificent tuskers parading the streets of the medieval royal capital of Sri Lanka, Kandy, in a tradition continued for over 230 years in the honour of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha.
