Emirates to operate A380 flights to Singapore

Emirates will operate its inaugural A380 flight to Singapore from Dubai on 8 September 2012.

The 517-seat double-decker A380 aircraft will be deployed for flights EK 354 and EK 355 between 8 September 2012 and 21 September 2012 on the back of strong passenger demands in both directions, replacing the regular 354-seat Boeing 777-300ER.

“Emirates has seen growing passenger demand for flights on the Singapore-Dubai route over the last few years, be it for business or leisure purposes. Just last year, we increased the frequency of flights on the Singapore-Dubai with seven additional weekly flights, bringing the total number of flights out of Singapore to 28 - the most number of direct Singapore-Dubai flights offered by any airline,” said Mr Nick Rees, Emirates’ Manager, Singapore and Brunei.

The Emirates superjumbo’s three-class configuration boasts 14 private First Class Suites, 76 lie-flat beds in Business Class and 427 seats in Economy Class.

Passengers across all cabins will get to enjoy over 1,400 channels on Emirates’ Digital Widescreen inflight entertainment system - ice, and stay connected to the internet throughout their journey with high speed Wi-Fi access.
