Etihad Airways announces global sale in Sri Lanka

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is offering travellers from Sri Lanka fantastic savings in its latest Global Sale.

Guests travelling in Business and Economy Class from Colombo can choose from a wide range of destinations across Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East. Tickets are on sale until 29 February and are valid for travel between 10 March and 12 December.

Etihad Airways currently operates twice-daily scheduled flights from the capital Colombo to the airline’s Abu Dhabi hub with convenient connections to destinations worldwide.

Business Class all-inclusive return fares to London start at Rs. 205,097; Frankfurt from Rs. 179,162; Rome from Rs. 172,313; Paris from Rs. 180,750; Milan from Rs. 207,322; Munich from Rs. 232,687; New York from Rs. 263,427 and Washington from Rs. 303,427.

All-inclusive Economy Class return fares to London start from Rs. 77,377; Zurich from Rs. 63,498; Frankfurt from Rs. 73,462; Rome from Rs. 65,113; Milan from Rs. 63,122; Paris from Rs. 61,816; New York from Rs. 87,227 and Chicago from Rs. 93,227.

Travellers to the United States have the additional benefit of clearing US Immigration and Customs at the special US Pre-Clearance facilities in Abu Dhabi International Airport during their transit. This ensures that they arrive in the United States as domestic passengers and avoid the need to complete immigration formalities upon arrival.
