Thirty-three contestants who qualified for the Miss France 2014 Finale along with reigning Miss France Marine Lorphelin who is also the first runner up in 2013 Miss World arrived in Sri Lanka on Saturday morning.
The contingent headed straight to the tastefully-appointed Cinnamon Lodge Habarana, where they had a great time in the lap of luxury. During their stay at Lodge, they enjoyed a variety of experiences, including a fun-filled tuk-tuk ride, exciting elephant back ride and an unforgettable safari at the Minneriya National Park.
The contingent leaves Cinnamon Lodge today (19) and will head to the Cinnamon Grand for lunch at the hotel’s iconic Nuga Gama restaurant, after which they will visit Cinnamon Bey, Beruwala.
This is the first time that final contestants of a Miss France contest are visiting Sri Lanka although they have visited countries like Thailand, Maldives, Mexico and Mauritius before. The winner of the Miss France 2013 will visit Sri Lanka again and represent Cinnamon Hotels and Resorts as a Brand Ambassador.
The contingent’s tour of Sri Lanka is made possible by the country’s leading hospitality brand, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, together with the national carrier SriLankan Airlines.
