Goodies commemorates Vesak with Eggless Cakes

Vesak is a time of peace and humility, when followers partake in vegetarian fare in order to spare killing of any kind.  

The egg-free cakes at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s pastry shop, Goodies, were devised to commemorate this festival and allow followers to enjoy a guilt free sweet treat.

Although the recipe excludes a seemingly vital ingredient, the egg-free cakes are nothing short of perfection in terms of taste and presentation.  Tuck into a slice of Hazelnut and Nougatine, Vanilla, Marble, Chocolate, Strawberry or Coffee Cream cakes and find out for yourselves.  

This special range is priced reasonably at between Rs. 125/++++ to Rs. 195/++++, so take home the entire range or enjoy one at the pastry shop with a glass of Goodies’ famous ice coffee.  

Regardless of religious orientation, this range is one to try before the month ends.  Goodies is open from 7.30 am to 9.00 pm.
