Grand celebrates birthday with green raffle draw

The Cinnamon Grand’s Green Team launched a unique, first-of-its-kind raffle draw for its associates, in celebration of the Grand’s seventh birthday. Aptly titled the ‘Haritha draw,’ this initiative intended at creating awareness, engagement and hype on being green, saw one in 20 people walking away a winner. The draw, conceptualised and implemented by the Green Team, saw the sale of 4,086 tickets to associates, raising an impressive total of Rs. 430,000, entitling 204 lucky associates to win Rs. 2,000 each at the draw finals, which was held on 26 November 2012, coinciding with the Cinnamon Grand’s birthday.
