Green Globe accredits Deloitte France

Green Globe announced the accreditation of Deloitte France’s Cecilia Valdes Canales, giving Deloitte France the authorisation to conduct verification assessments for Green Globe worldwide.

Green Globe Certif-ication CEO Guido Bauer was quoted as having said that they welcome Ms Valdes Canales to their global team of sustainable travel and tourism auditors.

Bauer added that at the end of 2011, Ms Valdes Canales completed the Green Globe Auditor Training, and combined with her professional experience, she offers a tremendous range of skills including the ability to complete verification work in four languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French and English.

Green Globe certifies resorts, congress centers, cruise ships and other tourism businesses in countries around the world and includes well known hotel and resort brands Barcelo, Club Med, Hilton, Iberostar, Möv-enpick, Radisson, Sheraton and Wyn-dham.  Green Globe auditors cover 83 countries and provide local knowledge and experience to ensure compliance to this internationally recognized sustainability programme.
