Bahrain national carrier Gulf Air is offering its frequent flyer programme (FFP) members the opportunity to upgrade to Falcon Gold class at the check-in counter using their Falcon Flyer miles under a new scheme.

The offer is available to all FFP members across Gulf Air’s network effective immediately, the airline said in a statement.

“This is one more incentive that we offer to our FFP members to enjoy Gulf Air’s premium class travel experience with upgrades that can be done just before they fly – when they check in for flights,” said Gulf Air senior manager of loyalty programmes Fayza Al Bastaki.

“All they need to do is notify Gulf Air’s duty manager at check in and present their FFP card, and he will make arrangements to upgrade them,” Fayza said.

“Our FFP customers are very important to us and we continue to find ways to make it easier for them to enjoy their membership benefits making their travel experience as smooth and seamless as possible,” she added.
