Heritage Hotel Anuradhapura – surrounded by history, pampered in luxury – celebrated its fifth anniversary this year.
Having opened in 2009 in the heart of the city with beautiful views, it gained popularity within a short period of time. The reason behind its success is the blend of history and luxury.
Anuradhapura is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It was the kingdom for many great kings over 1,400 years ago, who had left a legacy of architectural and engineering marvels in and around the city.
The architecture of the hotel gained attention with the balconies of the rooms showcasing views of the picturesque ancient Tissa Wewa and three ancient stupas; the Jethawanaramaya, Abhayagiriya and Thuparamaya.
Apart from the heritage aspect of being surrounded by history and the Cultural Triangle, it is just 40 minutes away from the country’s second largest park, the Wilpattu Abayabhuumiya, where you can witness many inland lakes, leopards, birds and many other species.
The luxury hotel features 35 deluxe rooms, Eastern and Western cuisine, all amenities, a dedicated team and comprehensive service concepts.
Heritage now completing its fifth year is ready with more exiting surprises for guests.
