Hotel Show to come alive in July

South Asia’s largest, most comprehensive and eagerly looked forward to hotel exhibition, Hotel Show 2013, is scheduled to be held on a grand scale on 26, 27 and 28 July 2013 at Sri Lanka’s landmark exhibition host, the BMICH.

Over the years, the biannual exhibition has gained immense recognition and popularity among all hospitality industry stakeholders and the general public alike for its comprehensive quality which covers every sphere of the industry.

The stalls, which have now been allotted in record time, ensure that this year’s exhibition would be above par and give each visitor and stallholder an experience that has never been witnessed in the hospitality industry in the island.

The biannual event, which will be held for the eight spectacular time, has changed in its nature after the organising committee felt the need to hold it in consecutive years for the first time.

Hotel Show 2013 will feature the entirety of the country’s most prominent and world-renowned brands which are set to display the modern and innovative technologies to an audience including international consumers and hospitality service providers.

In keeping up with the Hotel Show tradition in the previous years, the participants at the event will include segments such as room technology, laundry, air conditioning, software systems, modern security systems, hygiene and catering, architecture, gardening, landscaping, outdoor furniture, swimming pools, waste management, and much more.

The mega show is indeed set to be the ‘one-stop-shop’ for all hospitality needs in both products and services.

Chairman of the Organising Committee for Hotel Show 2013 Trevine Gomez said the exhibition would most certainly mark a turning point in the sphere of hospitality-related exhibitions.

“This will be an event like no other, with the continuous drive and emphasis placed on increasing tourism in the country, Hotel Show 2013 will be most certainly provide all stakeholders a common platform to engage, discuss, innovate and create unique features and services related to the hospitality industry for which our country is renowned world-over,” he said.

A street food carnival, ice carving competitions, cocktail competitions, along with industry seminars bringing together world’s leading speakers and industry professionals will be lined up with Hotel Show 2013, giving the real feeling of hospitality which will all be concurrent events of this extravaganza.

Hotel Show 2013, organised by the Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association (CHSGA) in partnership with presidential award winning exhibition organiser Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services, will be an event not to be missed.

The exhibition is endorsed by the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau and the Sri Lanka Association of Professional Conference, Exhibition and Event Organisers (SLAPCEO), while Lanka Loha has stepped forward for the third consecutive year to support this exhibition as a Gold Sponsor. Over 90% of the exhibitors have already confirmed their participation in this mega trade exhibition.
