Hunas Falls board gets five new directors

Hayleys Group’s Hunas Falls Hotels Plc has announced the appointment of five new directors following the resignation by three who represented Jetwing Group interests.

The three Non Executive Directors appointed are veteran hotelier Chandra Wickramasinghe, Amaya Resorts and Spa Director Marketing and Sales Denesh E Silva, and Vallibel Finance Managing Director S.B. Rangamuwa whilst the two Independent Non Executive Directors are The Fortress General Manager Jan van Twest and DIMO Executive Director Suresh Gooneratne.

Their appointment follows the resignation of Hiran Cooray, Shiromal Cooray and R. Samarasinghe whilst Hayleys Deputy Chairman Dhammika Perera has also resigned from Hunas Falls Board.

Following the new appointments, the Board of Directors of Hunas Falls Hotels Plc comprises A.M. Pandithage (Chairman), S. C. Ganegoda (Non Executive Director), V.K. Wickremasinghe, L.T. Samarawickrama (Independent Non Executive Director), S.J. Wijesinghe (Non Executive Director), C.J. Wickramasinghe (Non Executive Director), D.E. Silva (Non Executive Director), S.B. Rangamuwa (Non Executive Director), J.V. Twest (Independent Non Executive Director) and S. Gooneratne (Independent Non Executive Director).
