Luxury destination club Inspirato has added two properties in Thailand and three in Maldives to its global vacation portfolio, representing the club’s entrance to Asia.

The club’s offerings in Thailand are a 260-square-metre ocean-view villa and a 470sqm private retreat within the Soneva Kiri resort on the nearly untouched Koh Kood in Trat province. Inspirato members can enjoy private infinity-edge pools, personal butler service, world-class snorkelling and scuba diving, and the resort’s treetop dining pod.

In Maldives, Inspirato members can now choose from three private residences within the Soneva Fushi resort, the only inhabitant on Kunfunadhoo Island, including a one-bedroom villa, a spacious two-storey, two-bedroom suite and a four-bedroom reserve complete with a private spa suite, gym and steam room. All residences are beachfront and include private seawater pools, personal butler service, private outdoor seating areas and open-air garden bathrooms.

Inspirato partnered with leading luxury-resort operator Soneva Group to bring its members the club’s latest travel options. Besides stunning views and five-star service, Inspirato members vacationing in Thailand and Maldives will have access to a variety of wellness treatments provided by the award-winning Six Senses Spa.

“Soneva’s resorts in Thailand and the Maldives are spectacular, offering the absolute best in exotic barefoot luxury and secluded relaxation,” said Inspirato Founder and CEO Brent Handler. “We have been looking for that dream-like, out-of-this-world, hidden gem where our members could escape to truly get away, and we found it.”

With the addition of the Thai and Maldives properties, Inspirato members can now take advantage of 172 travel options in 51 destinations.

Inspirato members have access to an ever-growing portfolio of luxury homes in the world’s top destinations, including California, Colorado, Hawaii and New York City in the United States, France, Italy and London in Europe, and Mexico the Caribbean.

By leasing vacation properties, Inspirato says it can keep membership fees low, offer up to 50 per cent off market rates, and easily add homes and destinations as demand increases. Its innovative business model has led to rapid growth since its January 2011 launch.
