Kingfisher launches five domestiac flights

MUMBAI: The Vijay Mallya-promoted Kingfisher Airlines Limited this week launched five new flights on its domestic network.

The new flights would connect Mumbai with Jabalpur, Belgaum and Indore, while the other two flight services would connect Jabalpur and Indore and Belgaum and Mumbai.

“These flights are open for sale from today. The flights to Belgaum will commence from 10 January, 2011 while the flights from Mumbai to Jabalpur and Indore will commence from 24 January, 2011,” said Manoj Chacko, executive vice president — commercial, Kingfisher Airlines Limited.

According to him, the flights service to Belgaum, Jabalpur and Indore would allow better connectivity between these cities and major Indian and International destinations.

Currently, Kingfisher Airlines flies to 59 cities in the country and 8 international destinations with over 360 daily departures on a fleet of 66 aircraft.
