Kuwait Airways, the national carrier of the State of Kuwait, has added three new destinations to expand its network. This addition of new sectors will enhance its network in the European region. The new destinations are Vienna, Munich and Istanbul and with these additions Kuwait Airways will now be operating to eight online points in Europe.

Vienna, one of the former homes of the Habsburg court and its various empires, still has the trappings of the imperial capital it once was, and the historic city centre is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Kuwait Airways has started its operations to this ancestral heritage with connections on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays with an Airbus A320.

Munich, famous for its beautiful architecture and fine culture, is another new destination which has been added to Kuwait Airways’ network in the European region. Munich’s cultural scene is second to none in Germany, with the museums even considered by some to outrank Berlin in quality. Kuwait Airways operates an Airbus A340 to Munich on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Istanbul is the third new destination. You can adventure the beauty of Istanbul, located on both sides of the Bosporus, the narrow strait between the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea, Istanbul bridges Asia and Europe both physically and culturally. Kuwait Airways has daily connections with Airbus A320 to Istanbul.

With the introduction of these three new destinations passengers would be entitled for free accommodation at the transit point.

Country Manager Sudesh Rupasinghe said: “With a history of 60 years, Kuwait Airways has been catering to its customers with greater valued service. We are very happy to announce the new destinations to expand our network.”
