Kuwait Airways ties up with Seylan Credit Cards to make overseas travel easier

Kuwait Airways, the national carrier of the State of Kuwait, recently tied up with Seylan Bank Credit Cards to make overseas travel more simplified and even more hassle-free for its thousands of customers. Seylan Bank Credit Card holders can now pay for Kuwait Airways tickets in three, six and 12 monthly instalments, and, at very low rates of interest. Furthermore such passengers will be entitled to an extra 10 kilos luggage and the option of preferential seating. Making the experience even more comfortable and rewarding is the free use of the Palms Lounge at the Bandaranaike International Airport and the free enrolment to the Kuwait Airways frequent flyer Rewards Program Oasis Club. Kuwait Airways’ Sri Lanka and Maldives District Sales Manager Sudesh Rupasinge said: “We’re happy to join hands with Seylan Bank and offer our customers this very practical option. The easy repayment terms takes away much of the hassle and makes foreign travel a pleasure. We’re also happy to enrol all such passengers to the Kuwait Airways Oasis Rewards Programme and treat them to a range of benefits and facilities.” Seylan Bank will also offer a free Travellers Card to all Kuwait Airways customers who purchase their air tickets with the Seylan Credit Card. Senior Deputy General Manager Retail Banking, Tissa Nanayakkara said, “A unique travel companion, the Seylan Traveller’s Card is a pre-paid Visa accredited card which replaces the conventional option of carrying foreign currency in cash, and, the once-favoured travellers’ cheques. This practical and handsome Travel Card can be loaded with any one of the designated five foreign currencies for instant use in any part of the world.” “Issued in US dollars, Sterling Pounds, Euros, Saudi Arabian Riyals and Australian dollars, the Seylan Traveller’s Card enjoys worldwide acceptability at over 30 million merchants across the globe and 2.2 million Visa accredited ATMs. We’re happy to share the convenience of this instrument with Kuwait Airways’ passengers,” Nanayakkara added. Kuwait Airways operates six flights per week to Europe and the USA with excellent connections from and to Colombo and with convenient morning departures from Colombo. Furthermore its direct flight from Colombo to New York via Kuwait requires no transit visa.  Passengers will have the option of flying Rome-Paris-Rome, Geneva-Frankfurt-Geneva and London-New York-London with additional stopovers of their choice, with attractive fares ranging from economy to businesses class which include Gulf and Middle East points.
