Laksala wins award in Best Web 2014 competition for second consecutive year

Laksala is the Bronze award winner in the Best Web 2014 under Government category. This was based on technical, design, content and interaction criteria fulfillments of the Laksala website www.laksala.gov.lk. It is the second consecutive year that Laksala is been awarded in the Bronze category.

Best Web 2014 is a unique and innovative competition organised by the LK Domain Registry for the fifth time to recognise the best websites in Sri Lanka. Laksala has realised the importance of internet marketing and the growing importance of social media. Laksala has found that in addition to the 13 showrooms spread island wide, offering the products on the internet is also convenient to customers. Although Laksala functions from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the online marketing facility enables customers to do business around the clock without worrying about the showroom opening hours.
