Lalin new MD at Hunas Falls Hotels

Lalin T Samarawickrama has been appointed as the Managing Director of Hunas Falls Hotels Plc.

He also serves as the Managing Director of Amaya Leisure Plc which manages Hunas Falls Hotel in addition to being an Executive Director of Hayleys Plc. Lalin is an internationally qualified hotelier having gained most of his management experience in the UK, working for large international hotel chains over a long period of time. He was the first Sri Lankan Manager to be appointed by the Beaufort International Chain of Hotels to run the first seaside boutique resort. He is a member of the Institute of Hospitality, UK (formerly HCIMA) and of the Royal Society of Health, London.

Having specialist in hotel designs and development, Lalin has been responsible for the careful planning and execution of Amaya Resorts and Spas refurbishment and rehabilitation programs.

He is also a Director of The Fortress Resorts Plc, Hotel Services Ceylon Plc, Royal Ceramics Plc and Kelani Valley Plantations Plc.
