Sri Lanka’s leading safari operator announced today that it has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence from popular travel review website TripAdvisor.

This accolade is given only to businesses who consistently achieve outstanding travel reviews on the site, and is a testament of high standards.  Leopard Safaris currently rank as the #1 provider of specialty lodging in Yala National Park and Wilpattu National Park. Last year it was also listed as a ‘recommended’ site on TripAdvisor.

“We are extremely proud to have been given this award, and we couldn’t have done it without our valued customers, passionate staff, and dedicated agents,” said Noel Rodrigo, the founder of Leopard Safaris. “We are trying to promote Sri Lanka as a wildlife destination. Many people come here for the beaches and cultural sites, but they don’t actually realize just how much wildlife we have in this country. Sri Lankan wildlife is some of the best and we are pleased to see that this is finally being recognized.”

Leopard Safaris is now in its sixth year of business and is currently running safari camping experiences in both Yala and Wilpattu national parks. It has been featured widely in international media over the past few years.
