Popular fine dining Indian restaurant Maharaja Palace recently won the A Grade Certification of Commendation from the Public Health Department of the Colombo Municipal Council.
The certification from the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Food Authority City of Colombo is in recognition of excellence in food safety and hygiene.
“The restaurant serves best of class north and south Indian dishes with diners offered a wide range of choices. This is possible due to an expert team of chefs, including some from India, whose art of cuisine has made the Maharaja Palace popular as well as award winning,” said Maharaja Palace Managing Director Romesh Wickramasekera.
The Maharaja Palace, located at 1A Rajakeeya Mawatha Colombo 7, is open from 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. for lunch and from 6.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. for dinner.
