Mahaweli Reach Hotel receives ISO 9001:2008 certification

Further enhancing its commitment to ensuring consistent quality standards, Mahaweli Reach Hotel, Kandy has obtained the ISO 9001:2008 certification. This internationally recognised certification assists in standardising processes to ensure effective quality management and thereby to persistently meet customer expectations.
Mahaweli Reach has throughout its history of four decades been committed to delivering service of the highest standard and continuously conducts upgrades of product and processes to keep abreast with the latest trends in the industry.
At the Mahaweli Reach, providing personalised service that anticipates the guest’s expectations has always been the objective and it is hoped that with this ISO 9001:2008 certification these high service standards can be continuously upgraded.
Presenting the certification document to Mahaweli Reach Hotels PLC Managing Director Jayantha Panabokke was Bureau Veritas, Sri Lanka General Manager Shan Nanayakkara whilst Veritas Sales and Marketing Bureau Assistant Manager Gayan Balachandra, Systems Halcyon Ltd. Projects Manager Nipuna Kumara and the staff of Mahaweli Reach Hotel were also present.
