Couples across the world will be engaged in some form of celebration this Valentine’s. At The Kingsbury the intention is to honour you and your loved one for the journey you have been through and to inspire those who are about to take that journey.
The timeless Kingsbury celebration on 14 February kicks off at 7:00 p.m. with an elegant candlelit dinner, a specially-designed five course menu served under the stars, at the al-fresco dining area.
Special extra touches include a glass of Laurent Perrier champagne, a red rose for the ladies, complemented by live music for the evening by Ricky Bahar and Shanelle Fernando.
“Our aim is to make this Valentine’s celebration a magical evening for you and your loved one by bringing back the pomp and pageantry of a bygone era in music, whether you wish to propose to your loved one, renew your vows, or simply enjoy the food of love.
“Whatever the occasion may be, join us with your sweetheart to celebrate your union!” the management said.
They have also created a distinctive Valentine room package to give guests all the romance and magic of a timeless Kingsbury celebration.
Priced at Rs. 25,000 per night (room only/double sharing basis), guests can celebrate Valentine’s Day with a one night stay in their own luxury Kingsbury chamber, inclusive of a bottle of Moet Chandon champagne.
The package is valid from 14 to 17 February for Sri Lankans and resident expatriates at the given rate.
The hotel management has also rewarded facebook fans with tickets for the ‘timeless Kingsbury celebration’ for sharing their most memorable romantic experiences on www.facebook.com/TheKingsbury.
The Kingsbury is backed by Sri Lanka’s most diversified, blue-chip conglomerate the Hayleys Group. The hotel’s numerous restaurants, bars and lounges provide an intimate and classically elegant ambience.
