Malaysia Airlines holds Appreciation Night for travel agents

Malaysia Airlines recognised its travel agents for their continuous support and loyalty by holding an ‘Appreciation Night’ at 8 degrees, Cinnamon Lakeside recently. The occasion was graced by High Commissioner of Malaysia Azmi Zainuddin and Malaysia Airlines Regional Senior Vice President South Asia and Middle East Azhar Hamid who had flown in especially for the event. Malaysia Airlines recognises and appreciates the relentless patronage of these travel agents; whose tireless desire to reach for new heights has been the foundation of many Malaysia Airlines’ successes and growth. General Manager of Sri Lanka and Maldives Shah’Irwan Shahizan assured that Malaysia Airlines iswas geared to embrace the challenges to further improve its position in the market and to continue growing from strength to strength. Whilst cruising on the Beira Lake enjoying succulent feast and delightful entertainment, the night delivered its promise of a wonderful evening celebrating friendship filled with warmth and merriment. The highlight of the gala evening was awards presentation to the top agents – Gabo Travels Ltd., Shan Holidays Ltd., Hemas Travels Ltd., Mackinnons American Express Travels Ltd., Classic Travels Ltd., The Traveller Global Ltd., George Steuarts Travel International Ltd., Lando Travels Ltd., BOC Travels Ltd., 2nd Chance Travels Ltd. and Hemas Air Services Ltd. The night concluded with a raffle draw where two Business class tickets to Kuala Lumpur inclusive of accommodation were awarded to two lucky winners to experience the world renowned 5-star Business Class service of Malaysia Airlines. Malaysia Airlines currently operates 10 times weekly service from Colombo to its hub Kuala Lumpur with connectivity to more than 80 destinations worldwide across four continents.
