With regular refurbishments and modern updates the hotel has kept pace competing with its international peers. The hotel undergoes a detailed refurbishment every five to six years with regular soft refurbishments in between to transform the hotel into a welcoming holiday sanctuary. The most recent refurbishment was successfully carried out in 2010 and engaged the space with flexibility, light, a sense of openness and most importantly a strong connection with the surrounding scenery.
