  • Now plays role of Brand Ambassador for Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts in France
Following the glamorous visit of the Miss France contestants to Sri Lanka in November, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts takes great pleasure in congratulating the new Miss France of 2014, Flora Coquerel on her recent win, and announces her as its Brand Ambassador in France for the New Year. The Franco-Beninise student has beaten 33 other competitors to be crowned Miss France 2014. 19-year-old Flora Coquerel, a student of international business, succeeds Marine Lorphelin in the annual televised competition, held this year in Dijon. She said she hoped to use her title to promote literacy and the integration of women in the workplace. The jury was this year headed by the French-Canadian singer Garou. Second place went to Miss Tahiti, third to Miss Provence, fourth to Miss Côte d’Azur – who was incidentally also adjudged as Miss Cinnamon Hospitality during their pre-pageant tour in Sri Lanka – and fifth to Miss Guadeloupe. Following her win, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts will once again be hosting and extending its hospitality to this most popular and sought after personality of the French nation, when she also returns to Sri Lanka as Brand Ambassador for the resort chain next year, creating a following in the French market and much potential for tourism growth in Sri Lanka as a result of her visit. “We are honoured and privileged to host the new Miss France at our hotels once again and are indeed delighted that we can indulge her in hospitality at its best, at Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts,” said Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts Head of Brand Marketing Dileep Mudadeniya.
