Mohamed Fazeel ends 35-year tenure at SriLankan on a high note

SriLankan Airlines’ Head of Commercial Operations Mohamed Fazeel retires today (23 January), concluding a 35 year tenure at the national carrier, on a high note.
Fazeel joined the airline in May 1979, four months before SriLankan’s predecessor, Air Lanka, commenced official operations.
Starting off as a network planning and market research executive, he went on to serve as a Regional Manager for the Europe, North America, South America, Middle East, Asia Pacific regions, before being appointed the airline’s Head of Worldwide Sales.
Concluding his service as the airline’s most senior employee, Fazeel has served with relentless commitment and dedication to help the airline evolve into the world class, award-winning national carrier that one sees today.
