Pegasus Reef Hotel recently unveiled its newly refurbished ballroom thereby further enhancing its product offering to its ever increasing clientele. This Rs. 60 million refurbishment project which took nearly three months to complete, included exciting new fabric wall paper, brand new carpeting in tones of red with yellow and beige, a state-of-the-art lighting system and the installation of modern specially designed chandeliers thereby adding to its aesthetic appeal. A new sound proof partition also enables the ballroom to be divided into two sections thereby increasing its overall productivity. The 1200 sq metre ballroom can now accommodate up to 800 pax for cocktails and nearly 600 pax for weddings. It can also be used theatre-style, classroom-style and boardroom-style. A sound proof partition system also enables the newly refurbished ballroom to be divided into two independent venues, Rantambara and Sobara, thereby increasing its overall productivity. “Our target clientele is a healthy mix of local and foreign clients and represent the business, leisure tourism and transit segments.
