Premier Ceylon Hotels and Hospitality Ltd. is organising Miss Premier Ceylon in collaboration with Miss England with the intention of focusing on Sri Lanka as a promising economic, social and tourism hub in the world.
The firm is hosting the finalists vying for the crown of Miss England 2017 for an exclusive beauty pageant to be held for the first time in Sri Lanka.
The competition is run alongside local contest Miss Premier Ceylon, which will feature Sri Lankan catwalk queens, and girls from both countries teamed up for a series of glamorous group photos.
Glamorous Miss England 2017 finalists touring Sri Lanka include; Zoe Dale – Miss Manchester, Paris Allen – Miss Rugby, Rachel Pitman – Miss Hertfordshire, Cheraleigh Van Zanten – Miss Hippodrome, Olivia Green – Miss Genting, Maisie Hobbs – Miss Nottinghamshire, Jen Atkin – Miss Yorkshire, Angela De Foe – Miss England Director and Graham Stone – Miss England Media Representative.
The British beauties from all corners of the country were also joined by Elizabeth Grant, who is the reigning Miss England and currently preparing to hand over the coveted tiara to her successor next month.
The contestants touched down in Colombo last week, where they will take part in the much-anticipated Beach Beauty shoot ahead of the ceremony in Birmingham, in UK.
As well as taking part in the traditional catwalk style contest, Miss England contestants will travel Sri Lanka, getting to know their counterparts and learning about the country.
The beauties will tour Colombo, Dambulla, Kandy, Galle till 4 July.
Tourism Development Christian Affairs Ministry and Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) have also endorsed the events.
