Premium economy class to be available for Krisflyer redemptions and upgrades

Members of KrisFlyer, Singapore Airlines’ frequent flyer program, will be able to redeem their miles for travel in Premium Economy Class with effect from 24 May.

KrisFlyer members will also be able to use their miles for upgrades from Economy Class to Premium Economy Class, or from Premium Economy Class to Business Class, with effect from 1 June. 

The latest enhancements to the KrisFlyer program are being introduced as Premium Economy Class is progressively being made available on more routes operated by Singapore Airlines. The new cabin class was introduced in August 2015 and is now available on select flights serving about 20 cities.

“Premium Economy Class has been very well received since its launch last year and we are pleased to make it available for KrisFlyer redemption, now that it is serving more cities in our network,” said Singapore Airlines Senior Vice President Marketing Planning Lee Wen Fen.

Members can also choose to convert their miles to points with selected partner loyalty programs for more rewards on the ground.
