President Maithripala Sirisena visits Tamarind Hill by Asia Leisure

President Maithripala Sirisena was recently in Galle to grace an event to mark significant improvements in the application of new technology for the Nilamehewara Janapathi Janatha Sewaya, held at the Labuduwa Siridhamma College in Galle. During this time, the President also visited Tamarind Hill by Asia Leisure. 

Tamarind Hill was honoured to the serve President Sirisena who has been instrumental in propelling the surge in tourist arrivals to Sri Lanka over the last few years. 

Under President’s vision, the accelerated development program for the tourism industry is clearly multifaceted – simultaneous progress has been made in infrastructural advancement, favourable international relations and Government policies to foster Foreign Direct Investment and a strong focus on manpower enhancement to ensure the economic benefits of the industry reach a larger cross-section of society.
