Ranfer Travels goes east during the September long weekend

Ranfer Travels, part of the esteemed Ranfer group will venture to the East coast and Polonnaruwa area during the long weekend, 19 – 22 September.
The highlights of the tour will be the visits to Thiriyaya (near Pullmodai), GirihanduSeya (the 1st Stupa of Sri Lanka, dating from the Thapassu/Bhalluka era) and Somawathiya (which enshrines Lord Buddha’s relics).
The night stays are at Lotus Park Hotel, Uppuweli and The Lake, Polonnaruwa – a 4 star CHC Prestige Hotel which overlooks the Parakrama Samudra.
In addition to the two visits mentioned before, Polonnaruwa ancient city sites and Polgahawela, Mahameuna are also in the cards.
The group will be led and conducted by veteran tour captain, Ranfer Travels Director Bandula De Silva who has years of experience and will guide travellers to discover the hidden treasure of this sacred island.
