A well planned ‘trek’ to Mannar, Madawachchiya and Madhu church during the long weekend of October starting on the 16th and returning to Colombo on the 19th, will be the next venture that will be undertaken by Ranfer Travels. The site visits are Dedigama Kota Vehera (birth place of Parakramabahu the Great), Kandy Temple, City Centre, Mannar and Thalaimannar. There will also be optional visits to Adam’s Bridge (sand bar link between Sri Lanka and India), famous Madu Church, Boo Oya Eco Park and the Airport Highway (if opened by 19th October). The overnight stays are at the panoramic Albatros Boutique Villa, Digana, Hotel Ahas or Palmyrah House and Boo Oya Eco Resort. With the North, East and North West becoming more and more popular with the Sri Lankan domestic travellers, it is timely that Ranfer Travels have introduced visits to Mannar which was a ‘no-go’ zone for more than 20 years. It is also important that the visitors could proceed to Thalaimannar and use the facility provided by the Sri Lanka Navy to visit Adam’s Bridge.
