Redeveloped Surf Bentota offers visitors an exhilarating experience

The Surf Bentota is the epitome of luxury living. Nestled in the southern region of Sri Lanka and surrounded by the aquamarine blue waves of the Indian Ocean, the Surf exudes nothing but excitement.

This unique star class resort, managed by the renowned Galle Face Hotel, was recently refurbished to convey a more contemporary style equipped with glamour, in order to offer visitors an exhilarating experience.

The redevelopment was done not only in the building, but our facilities and services have also been upgraded to offer nothing but the best to those who visit the resort,” Galle Face Hotel Group Chairman Sanjeev Gardiner said.

The Surf boasts of 100 rooms with stunning sea views and it is also the only resort to offer swim-up rooms in Sri Lanka. The 65 superior rooms, 26 deluxe rooms, three suite rooms and six family suite rooms are all spacious and tastefully designed to provide unrivalled hospitality to visitors.

The resort provides a dual pool and a private beach stretch, which is the first of its kind in Sri Lanka. The spaciously designed Balinese Spa, the chill out disco and karaoke lounge allows visitors to relax and enjoy their vacation.

The resort also offers a versatile dining experience to visitors with five dining areas that include the L’Heritage as the main restaurant, Fruit De Mere which specialises in seafood, Der Café coffee shop that functions 24 hours for late diners and visitors, the Arab Corner to enjoy shisha and Arabic coffee and the Lagoon for a unique dining experience at the beach while star gazing.

The Surf also offers a personalised service to its customers with an especially dedicated guest relations unit and a professionally qualified staff base that includes 178 members currently.

The Surf Bentota is managed by the Galle Face Hotel group, which consists of Ceylon Hotels Corporation, Kandy Hotels and the United Hotels Company.

These companies own and manage 19 properties around Sri Lanka, including Hotel Suisse and Queens Hotel in Kandy.
