Reef Vila first to join Travelife in Sri Lanka

REEF, Villa and Spa, Sri Lanka has become the first member of Travelife in Sri Lanka.

Travelife is an industry-led supply chain management programme set up by the European travel industry through a part EU funded project and managed by ABTA, the UK Travel Association.

Tour operators and accommodation providers work in partnership to improve sustainability performance.

The programme offers an on-line facility for hotels and other accommodation operators to record and manage their social and environmental impacts.

Credentials are verified during an on-site inspection by a trained auditor and results are made available to tour operators via a shared database.

High scoring properties achieve a Travelife award which is displayed by the tour operators in their brochures and on their websites.
