S.T.A.R.S Awards at Taj Samudra

S.T.A.R.S – The Special Thanks and Recognition System at Taj Samudra, Colombo held their annual award ceremony last evening at On Golden Pond. 

Three associates from the House Keeping Department and the Front Office Department who obtained the highest scores from Guest Satisfaction surveys in Taj Samudra, Colombo, were felicitated by the Taj Group of Hotels Managing Director Rakesh Sarna in India last week. 

S.T.A.R.S is way of rewarding achievement and exceptional performances by employees within the TAJ Group of Hotels worldwide. The highest achievers will receive a token of appreciation once a year in India. This year Dinusha Ranawaka from Front Office department scored 1110 while Kosala Tennakoon scored 1050 and JP Sunil scored 1010 from the House Keeping Department.

Taj Samudra, Sri Lanka & Maldives Area Director and General Manager Sarabjeet Singh, in his keynote speech thanked the associates for their dedicated service and unwavering commitment towards ensuring Taj Samudra’s journey towards excellence.

The awardees  were very motivated and overjoyed to receive the S.T.A.R.S and said they look forward to assisting the other team members of the Taj team receive the S.T.A.R.S award next year.
