From 1 December 2010, customers of Singapore Airlines and Garuda Indonesia will have more flights to choose from between Singapore and Denpasar (Bali), following the signing of a codeshare agreement between the two carriers.
Under the agreement, the two airlines will codeshare on a reciprocal basis on all flights between Singapore and Denpasar (Bali). Singapore Airlines operates three flights per day on the route while Garuda has daily flights.
“We are naturally delighted to have signed a codeshare agreement with Garuda Indonesia. It stems from our mutual desire to offer more choice of flights for our customers, enhance the popular island destination of Bali’s accessibility to the world and maximise the advantages of our route networks for the benefit of customers of both airlines,” said Ng Kian Wah, Singapore Airlines’ Senior Vice President, Sales Regions.
“Garuda’s customers will be able to enjoy convenient connections from Singapore to other cities, while SIA’s customers may benefit from Garuda’s links to many other domestic points in Indonesia from Denpasar,” added Ng.
