Singapore Airlines is to boost capacity on its Singapore-Jakarta route to meet increased demand, with the introduction of an eighth daily service from 15 September 2011.
The additional service will be operated by 288-seat Boeing 777-200 aircraft in a three class configuration.
With the additional daily flight, Singapore Airlines will operate a total of 77 weekly flights to Indonesia, including 21 weekly flights to the holiday island of Bali. Regional arm SilkAir also operates 53 flights per week to eight points in Indonesia.
