The 2012 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix with its signature mix of lights, glamour, and non-stop action, returns to the heart of the city at the Marina Bay Street Circuit from 21 to 24 September 2012. To witness Asia’s biggest sporting and entertainment event, Singapore Airlines will offer special all-inclusive packages to Formula 1 fans in Sri Lanka.

The Formula 1 race in Singapore is more than just a race. With an extensive S$5million entertainment line-up, the Marina Bay Street Circuit will be the toast of Singapore this September! The 2012 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix is nothing short of a mind-blowing world festival featuring international headliners, stunning theatrical-visual productions, retro disco showcases, and electrifying parades – all in one fully loaded circuit park.

World-renowned artistes such as Katy Perry, Jay Chou, Noel Gallagher are set to wow audiences with their dynamic performances, while retro fever will kick off with Pretenders and the ever-flamboyant The Proclaimers. “Mambo Jambo” experience will be an unforgettable moment for clubbing fans to dance in perfect synchrony to songs such as Bananarama’s “Love In The First Degree”, Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger” and Katy Perry’s “Firework”. Singapore Airlines would like to offer you the opportunity to be part of this thrilling race action and entertainment extravaganza with an exclusive package starting from Rs. 117,400 per person. Package includes return air fare on Economy Class, associated taxes and surcharges, hotel accommodation for three nights four days on twin-sharing basis inclusive of breakfast, airport-hotel return transfers and F1 tickets at the Bay Grand Stand.

Spectators at the Bay Grandstand will hear the roar beneath their feet as the cars race past this picturesque waterfront stretch and drive underneath the Bay Grandstand, a signature feature of the Singapore circuit. This section of track has proven to be an Achilles’ heel for many of the drivers as it requires them to negotiate four angled turns (16 to 19) in quick succession.

This vantage viewing point spoils the Bay Grandstand ticket holders for choice when it comes to food and beverage, with outlets on top and underneath the grandstand, as well as at the nearby Esplanade Theatres. The offer is valid till 14 September 2012, for travel out of Colombo by 21 September 2012. Prices quoted are subject to change due to currency fluctuation.
