SKAL International Colombo celebrates 60th anniversary at TAJ

SKAL International Colombo celebrated the 60th anniversary of its founding with a gala dinner at the Upper Crystal Ballroom of the Taj Samudra, Colombo.

Formed on 11 June 1954, SKAL Colombo was the 128th club in the world and the eighth club in Asia. SKAL today is the largest association of travel and tourism professionals worldwide and has over 16,600 members in 400 clubs in 87 countries. The SKAL Executive committee of SKAL International from Penang SK Marco Battistotti, President Asian Area Committee, from Mumbai SK Jason Samuel, Vice President West Asia from the Asian Area Committee SK Saravanan attended the event.

The current President of SKAL International Colombo Rohit Khosla – Area Director and General Manager of Taj Samudra welcomed the members and guests and in a toast to SKAL wished the Colombo branch many more years of service in SKAL.
