SLCB commences regional MICE training program with THASL

THE Sri Lanka Convention Bureau in collaboration with THASL commenced its regional MICE training program from Negombo. Fifty staff members of Negombo hotels were given training on MICE operations by special trainers nominated by the SLCB.

Among the speakers were Consultant Darni Zosa, B connected MD Felicia Adihetty, Lanka Exhibitions Imran Hassen and Achini Dandunnage and Vipula Wanigasekera of SLCB. The annual training program of the SLCB has been converted to regional training in order to benefit more hoteliers involved in MICE operations. “We will continue this with Kandy, Cultural Triangle, Beruwala, Bentota, Hikkaduwa, Galle, Hambantota and the east before the end of this year,” said SLCB GM Vipula Wanigasekera.
