SLCB facilitates conferences

The Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) in its program with SriLankan Airlines to meet with all medical associations will cover relevant medical professional bodies during 2013, in order to encourage and facilitate them to bring the relevant conferences both regionally and internationally into Sri Lanka.

SLCB is the Government arm to provide assistance for such events that bring in up market visitors who are high spenders and opinion makers. The Association of Haematologists is organising its next regional meeting in the latter part of this year, for which SLCB will provide assistance as a partner.
