Special luxury packages for Kandy Esala Perahera

The Sri Dalada Maligawa and the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau together with Ebert Silva Holidays (Pvt) Ltd.  have come together to offer special luxury packages for both foreign and local tourists to view the Kandy Esela Perahera, known as Asia’s most spectacular pageant, during the last breathtaking Randoli Perahera.

The glittering festival of lights and colours with magnificent elephants and vibrant drummers and dancers is a tradition of over 230 years held in honour of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha from 4 to 14 August this year. With Sri Lanka enjoying the dividends of peace, many foreign visitors will be arriving in the island specially to view this mesmerising pageant.

This special Randoli Esela Perahera can be viewed from 9 to 13 August. Air conditioned luxury coaches are scheduled to leave Colombo after lunch with both foreign and local guests on the above days.
