Sri Lanka gets top billing in Travel Trade Gazette

Sri Lanka was featured prominently in a recent edition of the prestigious UK travel magazine, the Travel Trade Gazette (TTG), which was consequent to the visit to Sri Lanka by Pippa Jacks, Managing Editor, TTG Media.

Her visit to Sri Lanka was sponsored by the EU SWITCH Asia Greening Sri Lanka Hotels (GSLH) in collaboration with the Travel Foundation, UK. Her itinerary took her to many parts of the country, including the South, Cultural Triangle and Hill Country. During the course of her three weeks stay in Sri Lanka, Pippa visited several hotels in the country and saw for herself some of the good work related to environment and sustainability, which was being carried out by the hotels registered with SWITCH Asia GSLH project. On her return to UK, Pippa published several articles about her experience in Sri Lanka, highlighting the steps taken in the environmental sustainability aspects in hotels.
