SriLankan Airlines once again presents its Yuletide extravaganza of music, dance, drama and prayer, ‘Christmas on Wings’, featuring the talented members of the staff of the National Carrier.
Held for the 32nd consecutive year, Christmas on Wings will be at the Bishop’s College Auditorium on 19 December from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Entrance is free for the public.
A particularly unique aspect of Christmas on Wings is that the cast of airline staff and their families are drawn from all religions. It is also produced completely in-house by the airline’s staff. The show will feature the scintillating voices of the SriLankan Airlines Choir, and the talent of its staff in dancing and drama, all together with colourful costumes and an atmosphere of good cheer befitting the season.
The Christmas on Wings concert will be followed by an annual charitable event next Easter, which will be a visit to an elders’ home by members of the cast and choir, with many gifts and much cheer. Funds for this will be from donations by the staff of the airline.
