Starwood signs first Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Asia Pacific

Starwood has signed its first Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Asia Pacific. The Kiroro, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Hokkaido is owned by Kiroro Resort Holdings and is located at the Kiroro Resort in Western Hokkaido, Japan – one of the region’s best powder skiing destinations.

The Kiroro is part of a dual signing with the Sheraton Hokkaido Kiroro Resort, both of which are scheduled to open in December 2015.

Starwood aims to grow the Tribute Portfolio brand to 100 hotels by 2020.
