Starwood’s Aloft brand debuts in Southeast Asia

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide opens its first Aloft brand hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. Aloft Bangkok – Sukhumvit 11 features 296 guestrooms with loft-like décor with nine-foot ceilings, platform beds, oversized showerheads and Blisso Spa products.

Aloft Bangkok – Sukhumvit 11 General Manager Brendan Daly was quoted in TTG Asia as having said that the Aloft concept is a perfect fit for Bangkok’s Sukhumvit district – it’s fresh, stylish, urban and tech-forward.

 Daly added that they are providing the perfect space for travellers to meet and connect on their adventures.

Other facilities available in Aloft include a full-service fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool, and a 265-square-metre meeting and pre-function space.

Two new Aloft properties will open in Southeast Asia by mid-2014, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral in March 2013 and Aloft Phuket Patong in July 2014.
