FarCry is a gateway to a number of marvellous attractions. A 30 minute drive and you’d enter the Wasgamuwa National Park – home to a majestic herd of over 150 elephants and much more. At the Mahiyangana Raja Maha Viharaya lies the most ancient stupa to be built in Sri Lanka as this is the site of Lord Buddha’s first visit to the island. The Veddahs of Dambana continue to fiercely guard their traditions and customs whilst the picturesque dam of Sorabora Wewa not only reflects the ingenuity of early kings but is also breathtakingly beautiful by sunset. Moreover, Kandy, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Pasikuda are all just two hours away.
