Sri Lanka was privileged to have a VIP delegation of the world’s largest travel and tourism group TUI Travel PLC visit the country recently, and Taj Samudra, Colombo was honoured to be a part of this visit.
The island has witnessed such a visit from a high powered delegation after a long time. The delegation comprising of TUI Specialist UK Chief Executive Officer Peter Long, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Johan Lundgren, Managing Director Mathew Prior, and the rest of the TUI team arrived in Sri Lanka on 13 January.
The Taj Samudra team welcomed them in the true traditional style with warmth and care. Taj Samudra Area Director and General Manager Rohit Khosla and his team garlanded the gentlemen with orchids and Mrs. Long was presented with a beautiful orchid basket as a gesture of Taj hospitality.
